Sp-12 Drum & Emax

Hi, I have several Emax Racks and an SP-12. Yesterday, I turned on my SP-12, and when I hit the drum pads, it sounds like electronic eprom noise. The tempo started displaying numbers like 82.? and the when I hit record, the metronome sounds fine, but it on really crazy time sigs like 5/16. When I select pattern, then time-sig, the system reboots. Does it sound like the BIOS when bad? I do have a DOS eprom burner and the blanks that will work on the SP-12 in case someone can send me a new BIOS to burn. The SP-12 is version 2.6 Turbo. As for the Emax SE, sometimes when I play it the sounds are accompanied by electronic "wind/scratchy noise", if I hit it in the front panel with my hand, it goes normal. The bad sound might return in 2 weeks or so then I hit it again and it goes away. Any suggestions? I just might take the SP-12 to the shop cause I really need it.
