E4x turbo EOS help

2006-06-18 by NicholasFaith

Hello,
Does anyone here have an E4x Turbo (not ultra) with EOS 4 that could copy
the OS onto a floppy for me? I'd gladly pay for the floppy and shipping. I
tried to download it from EMU but just gives me a checksum error.
Thank you tremendously,
Nicholas
PS. Does anyone know where I can find an extra scsi port option for my e4xt?

Hi Nicholas,

I could post you EOS 4.10a (the non Ultra version) if that's what you are looking for. Tell me your adress off list an I'll post the disc in a couple of days.

You could actually make your own second external SCSI port. I did that and it works great.

  All you need is:

  - 15-20 cm of cable
  - one 50-pin external female centronic connector
  - one 50-pin internal female connector
  - a tool to click the connector on the cable
  - two screws to hold the connector.

It's relatively simple to make. The hard part is to attach the connector pins to the cords in the cable, and that's really not a problem with the right tool.

  Best regards

  Brian
