EMAX, Yes and No buttons, functional problem

Re: [emax] EMAX, Yes and No buttons, functional problem

Regarding the yes/no buttons the data slider/pressing enter does the same job.

Try the bird run - Master module 7

If still no luck, go into Master 0 Special 4 for recalibration.

In some cases you have to disconnect the ribbon cables inside the machine and clean the contacts.
I've used Isopropyl alcohol to do this, and when reconnected dormant sliders have come back to life.

Thx for the quick reply.

Does anybody know where to find printboard schematics ?

Open the Emax, remove the face panels. Then, remove
the rubber pads sections and use an eraser to clean
the board contacts. You can also take tape machine
rubber capstan cleaner and clean the tips of the pad
buttons.
