Regarding the yes/no buttons the data slider/pressing enter does the same job. Try the bird run - Master module 7 If still no luck, go into Master 0 Special 4 for recalibration. Lyn

In some cases you have to disconnect the ribbon cables inside the machine and clean the contacts. I've used Isopropyl alcohol to do this, and when reconnected dormant sliders have come back to life.

Open the Emax, remove the face panels. Then, remove the rubber pads sections and use an eraser to clean the board contacts. You can also take tape machine rubber capstan cleaner and clean the tips of the pad buttons. --- Kim Sommer <kimsommer@...> wrote: > Thx for the quick reply. > > I have disconnected all cabels and cleaned all > contactpoints but it still dosn`t work, maybe there > an error on the printboard. > > Does anybody know where to find printboard > schematics ? > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Lyn Oakey > To: emax@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 7:03 PM > Subject: Re: [emax] EMAX, Yes and No buttons, > functional problem > > > In some cases you have to disconnect the ribbon > cables inside the machine and clean the contacts. > I've used Isopropyl alcohol to do this, and when > reconnected dormant sliders have come back to life. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Kim Sommer > To: emax@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 5:54 PM > Subject: Re: [emax] EMAX, Yes and No buttons, > functional problem > > Thats the problem i can`t use the data slider to > choose Yes and No in recalibration, only the Yes and > No buttons. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Lyn Oakey > To: emax@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 5:46 PM > Subject: Re: [emax] EMAX, Yes and No buttons, > functional problem > > Regarding the yes/no buttons the data > slider/pressing enter does the same job. > > Try the bird run - Master module 7 > > If still no luck, go into Master 0 Special 4 for > recalibration. > > Lyn > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Kim > To: emax@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 4:34 PM > Subject: [emax] EMAX, Yes and No buttons, > functional problem > > Hi All > > I recently brought a EMAX but it seems that the > YES and NO buttons and > the keyboard dosen`t work. > > Does anyone have an idea what to do ? > > Regards > Kim > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.394 / Virus Database: 268.10.3/395 - > Release Date: 21-07-2006 > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.394 / Virus Database: 268.10.3/395 - > Release Date: 21-07-2006 > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
