Emax SE Plus for sale

Emax SE Plus for sale

2006-09-20 by awakesong

Hello folksI have a Emax Plus SE keyboard that I going to let go of.
I will take the best offer after a reasonable amount of time. It is
in good condition, with the only flaw being one key is chipped on the
bottom (under the visible top, I can email photos). As you know it is
a heavy beast, but I would pack it with solid foam for shipping.

I want to thank the people on this list that helped me sort out some
operating issues with it. I had purchased this quite a while back for
a project that I never quite got to. I finally was able to operate it
enough to see if it would do what I needed it to do. Mostly I found
that I really need access to a Windows SCSI machine to do what I need.
I have a Mac without SCSI and just do not want to invest in another
computer.

Thanks again, and best regards,

John

Hallo John,
I see you are selling an Emax SE Plus and you have a Mac. I am searching for Sound Designer for Emax or Universal, can you help me? I am from Italy and I am desperately searching this software for my Emax SE (without Scsi and Hd). Thank you for your kindness, regards,

Patrizio

Please let me know if you want to sell it to me. Thanks!

It's sad that you have to let the Emax go because of computer
interfacing problems. But it's true that for recent Mac OS there's no
Emax software at all.
Why did you need SCSI ? Was it just to be able to exchange Emax banks
between your Mac and the Emax ?

Perhaps in the future I will release an "EMXP Light" version of EMXP
that will run on Mac OS. I don't know if I will do it, but if so, it
it should be able to read/write USB ZIP drives (but not floppy
drives). I can't put a date on this Mac-release however, first of all
because I'm not sure if I will spend anymore time on EMXP, and also
because I would have to replace some code first and ask a friend to
compile & test the software on his Mac - so that would take some
time...

Anyway, good luck with the sales.
