I figured out the jumper settings for the Teac FD235HF-A529

A1-B1 Jumpered
G1-G2 Jumpered
C3-D3 Jumpered
FG Jumpered   in the upper far left corner
leave all the rest off

Here is a link to the jumpers, but some of the emax settings will be
differ from this one.

now only if i knew where i misplaced those fucking jumper blocks....

The link is not needed anyways, just jumper the ones I typed and yah
should be good....

Thank you very much for this!!!

One quick question.....with my new teac 235hf drive installed, the 
floppy disk light remains on the whole time...is this normal? 
Also does anybody know where I can get a os image which definitely 
works? I have used the software from here: http://users.skynet.be/emxp/ 
to create the boot floppy. I have used the os image from the files here 
as well as  http://www.emulatorarchive.com/ (both the emax 3.2 
version)...but I either get Timeout Error! or Disk Error!. For an 
unformated file it says, disk not formated....so it seems to be 
working....or am I wrong?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
