Just because there is no sticker or logo indication does not mean it
isn't an SE. And you can upgrade it to SE if it isn't. First you need
to determine if it has SCSI or not. Is there a HD inside (dead or
not), or is there a 25 pin connector (looks like for a parallel
printer- but its not). Commonly this connector may be light blue or
black in color.
If no connector, and no HD, then you need a non-HD os. If you have a
connector / HD, then you want plus OS, and SE OS and see if either /
both boot it....
