Hello Peeps, has anyone tried using a SCSI card reader with the EMAX 1 - HD SE i instead of the Harddisk?

Yes. I use the external card reader. It work just fine. I am 99.9% sure that I can install an internal card reader. I just installed one in y ASR-10 and it work like a champ. There is absolutely complete silence. Can't say the same for the external card reader. I have been thinking about taking it out of the case and installing it in my Emax SE Plus. It is a Microtech DPAP-SCSI-MAC external. It has two PC card slots. The one that I put in the ASR-10 did not reveal the model number. It have three different card slots (PC, CF, SM). --- dawid_marciniak <dawid.marciniak@...> wrote: > Damn wouldnt have thought of that one!! Great Thanks, Do you think i will be able to open up the DPAP-SCSI-MAC and use it as an internal? --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, Jip Harrio <harrioj@...> wrote: > > DPAP-SCSI-MAC external reader and no model number for > the internal reader. I suspect yes. It should be do-able. It appears that the actual card reader can be removed from the case. I haven't gone as far as disassembling the case because I still need it as a standalone. But at some point I will explore the option of opening up the case and taking the card reader out so that it can be installed as an internal.
