Emax I HD SE and PCD-15B Card Reader

Re: [emax] Emax I HD SE and PCD-15B Card Reader

Yes. I use the external card reader. It work just
fine. I am 99.9% sure that I can install an internal
card reader. I just installed one in y ASR-10 and it
work like a champ. There is absolutely complete
silence. Can't say the same for the external card
reader.
I have been thinking about taking it out of the case
and installing it in my Emax SE Plus.

Out of interest, what SCSI card reader are you using?

It is a Microtech DPAP-SCSI-MAC external. It has two
PC card slots.

The one that I put in the ASR-10 did not reveal the
model number. It have three different card slots (PC,
CF, SM).

DPAP-SCSI-MAC external reader and no model number for
the internal reader. They both are Microtech.

an internal?

I suspect yes. It should be do-able. It appears that
the actual card reader can be removed from the case. I
haven't gone as far as disassembling the case because
I still need it as a standalone. But at some point I
will explore the option of opening up the case and
taking the card reader out so that it can be installed
as an internal.
