Emax

Hi,
 
I just managed to resurect the floppy drive on my emax I, so it's up and going for a little while. I do have a question about the display however. Often at random times when I'm in a menu it seems to shift the displayed characters over to the left by quite a bit. This results in me only being able to see the far right side characters of the menu over in the left hand side of my display. I hope I'm explaining this in a way that makes sense.
 
For example:
[analog processing]
 
will suddenly look like:
essing]
 
And things will stay like this until I reboot the emax.  I can still navigate normally, I'm just only able to see the last few right most characters.
 
I'm not sure how to deal with this prob. any hints from people who've experienced something similar would be great. I'm digging this sampler and really want to spend more time with it... but would like to be able to rely on it to function relatively normally.
