Hello. I would like to know if there is a way to use the emax sequencer. I want to know a basic way of how you would work with it. Also is there a way to set up a metronome? I am keen on getting my head round it, as i assume it must be similar to the sp1200. Thanks!

It's really very rudimentary and not useful (in my opinion) without an external sequencer or a computer. It does not quantize nor does it have any concept of repeating sections. With "Supermode" on, you can dump 16 MIDI channels from a computer into the Emax, which is what I used to do for live shows. -Dave On 7/6/07, sam_goose_266 <sam_goose_266@...> wrote: > > Hello. > > I would like to know if there is a way to use the emax sequencer. > > I want to know a basic way of how you would work with it. > > Also is there a way to set up a metronome? > > I am keen on getting my head round it, as i assume it must be similar > to the sp1200. > > Thanks! > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Hello all,,,,
,,,, does the Emax sequencer come with all the bells and wistles? Of course not,,, but,,, it's very usefull in it's simplicity. I use my PC based sequencer to write the tracks. After they are written, I simply record them using the Emax sequencer. Then Walla! I'm ready for my show.
I use it primarily for opening loops for shows e.t.c.

I do the same, but for rhythm tracks or complete sequences (max 7 voices at time in no more than 5 channels), and the timing it's very unstable. I've tried everythig from record at slow tempos, fast tempos, synced with the master sequencer or not. That's the only bad thing on the Emax. Doesn´t have a quantize function. :( --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, David Thompson <dthompson444@...> wrote: > > Hello all,,,, > > ,,,, does the Emax sequencer come with all the bells and wistles?
