some stuff did with Emax S.E

Hi all. It's a little bit off-topic, but anyway....
I'm proud to annonce our first album is just released.
You can hear some tunes here :
http://www.myspace.com/moderncubism
http://www.moderncubism.com

On those 14 tracks, each title were built using lots of old gears
(like Roland JX 8P/3P, a-juno, ...). Of course, there are too tons of
sounds from softsynth (Reason 3, gigaSampler).
In fact i've used some Juno machines too and Emu Emax S.E. for some
"granular" sound.
This Emax was used for atmosphere and ambiant patterns. And some
electro basses (using high capacity of analog filtering from the Emax
S.E.).

As a electro music fanatic, i wanted just to invite you to discover
our band.
The lead singer of this project is Jean-Luc De Meyer (lead singer of
Front 242) and myself (composition and production).
If you're interested in, you can also take a look on iTunes Music
Store where our album is available.
Sorry for this little "out of topic", but it's just in the way to
share my passion about electronic music with all of you.

Musicaly your,
Jean-Marc.

Hi Matt.
Thanks for the kind words ;-)
This little beast did a very good work, using extensively S.E.
synthetis to reach new sound-scape... Funny to see that i cannot do
the same with "modern" synths and samplers ...
But i'm anyway pleased with the software capabilities too (especially
Reason)... I export track by track (without any kind of effect). And
then i import all the tracks in Cubase SX (meaning wav "software
generated" and wav "hardware generated"). Finally i apply some VST
FX ...
;-)
