Questions on the mcdisk from scsiforsamplers.com for any that are using it.
Can you boot from an O/S image on a CF card?
Can EMXP format and write to a CF card drive?

Can I boot from OS on CF- Yes do it all the time, though I am not  
using MCDISK, I am using CF to IDE converter, then SCSI to IDE  
converter...... no Hard drive is installed in my Emax, only the CF.

Can EMXP format and write to CF- I haven't tried this yet, as I am  
loading my CF with factory samples and this takes some time with 100+  
disks to put in, but it is high on my list after that!

Thanks much for the info Ted, this is a great community!

SO basicly I could just get a CF reader/writer, connect that to an IDE converter, then to a SCSI 50 pin converter? Sounds cheaper than getting the mcdisk, hehe.

Hello - JD from SCSIforSamplers.com here. I wanted to let you
know that the MCDISK card reader drive works great with any EMAX that
has the SCSI interface. You can boot from a CF card.

Please let me know if anyone has any questions.
