You must create tracks in the sequencer by recording a
small amount for each track you wish to use.

Under the sequencer options is a track status (or
similar) option to set each mode to play or record.
After you have set up the number of parts that you
need (by setting a track's status to record and
recording a second of nothing), then set them to play
and you can assign presets for each of the parts.
There are 16 available tracks that correspond to 16
midi channels.

Also super mode must be on.

it is easy as hell to do it, you just have to set every 16 track on rec and then hit "rec" press stop directly after and go throug all 16 tracks and set patch number and channel for each track, done! don't remember exacly how i made this in the early 90's but once you've got use to it it is easy as .....yes hell ;=) yes this is the only way you can get the emax to respond multitimbral to all 16 ch

/k

RE: " .... and go throug all 16 tracks and set patch number for each

you can use your Sequezers Abilitiy to send Program Changes. Then you do
not need to set The Channel -> Patch manually.
and remember; you can save your Supermode Seq on the Disk.
and then load this Seq on the emax. From disk. :)
