SDS dump

2008-11-27 by aseven634

sorry i've asked this before but am still having some trouble,
recently upgraded to windows XP from 98 where tried soundforge in 98
but that didn't work though i had a bit of luck using awave though i
hadn't quite perfected it and was getting static at the end of
samples. i'm now using windows 98 and find soundforge 8 will transmit
only static and awave with transmit nothing at all, and both result in
the emax giving a BAD ACK at 0000 error, any ideas on how to get this
to work seems it was workign slightly better in 98 and i would really
like to figure out how to transfer samples without using a patch
cord... any info would be awesome thanks, and have been following the
RS422 fun thread and though most of it's over my head, it sounds nuts,
have been considering trying out the card reader idea myself though
right now my zip drive is holding out very nicely... thanks very much

 i use it with my emax/korg dss1/korg dsm1/ensoniqs eps asr10/roland s
series s330/w30/s750/s770/s760/emu eos and akai and kurzweil samplers
it uses sds as well as smdi and has various dump protocols for
specific samplers that dont meet the sds standard.
