Hello Gang,

Is there any place I can find the Keys "C" and "D". Mine have broke.

Cheers,

Paul

Hello Paul,

If you are unable to find any replacement keys for your Emax, you could try the following:

You can adapt a Siel DK-80 key to fit the Emax by removing 1 prong on the underside of
the key, and by installing the weight from your broken Emax key.
Visually the keys look the same, and thankfully the Siel keys are easier to find than original
Emax replacement keys.

Part no: VP-KY-851 Model: Siel DK-80

All the best

Dave

Ebay has an auction 260341098730 that includes 2 C keys but no D. I
actually need a B key as well. I asked already and he is not selling
the keys individually, unless you want one of the broken ones that you
would have to glue back together.

Emax 2 and how to copy OS onto floppy ?

2009-01-05 by David

Hi
I wish to send a working Emax 2 OS floppy to another member in the post
I wish to confirm that the correct procedure to copy OS from my
working Emax 2 HD model is to go into special mode and follow Copy OS
Menu and select my internal hard drive as source and finally select a
formatted floppy as destination disk?

Im also wondering why every-time a floppy is formatted that OS is not
included eg like Roland S50

thanks David

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
