Shayne,
Any modern line level equipment you will buy (including your emax) works
in a bridged impedence system - where the voltage signal is what's seen
to be important and there is no attention paid to power transfer.
now, these days there's 2 basic types of "line level" signals - one
references to something called +4dBu and the other references to -10dBV
but really, your mixing desk or your audio interface should have enough
gain control to go up or down as required.
So, in short, you don't need to match anything. And you don't need a D.I.
