Emax

hi group i am new to the group.
i recently acquired an emax for $40- !
It has a sticker that says HD retro on it right next to the logo. and the guy who sold it to me said that it has the HD retrofit hard drive in it but the extra internal drive doesn't work.
well thats what he said. i havn't checked for a scuzi port.
It came with 3 discs ands the original emax 1 manual.
the disc that it boots from says emax OS 1 on it.
The Ema will load the os and a have been able to sample with it but it will not save presets to a floppy and it will not load from a floppy.
it just says "load error".
also i noticed that in the manual it tells you that the emax will say "Load All" but the machine says "load bank".
i would like to be able to save my presets to floppy.
sure i would love to get the extra harddrive to work if its not too much work but saving to floppy would be fine also.

iv'e seen a tiny bit about the SE upgrade but havn't been able to find exactly what that upgrade would do.

does any one have a link to some place where i can order a new OS with manual for this thing? or have any simple advice as to hot rodding it up a bit ?
I don't want to have to ship it anywhere or have to find an old computer.
I love the sound and it kicks mucho ass on the rack mount Mirage i owned back in the mid ninties.

by the way it works fine i just havn't been able to save presets to disk yet.
