Emax II and Syquest EZ-135 (again)

Emax II and Syquest EZ-135 (again)

2009-11-20 by Klaus Muller

Hi guys,

I've read the post about the EZ-135 but I do have a little problem:

I want to format the EZ-disk but I do not know how. I the menue I can only chose Floppy as the device to format. Perhaps I am blind? Thanks...

It's been a while but as long as the Emax II already sees the EZ all you need to do is choose Format then select Floppy as the Source and then it should prompt you to choose a Destination - that would be the device number the EZ is.

Even before it's formatted the Emax should still see the EZ as a device.

Thank for your reply. And yes: The Emax sees the EZ. I will try it this evening...

Thanks, John. Everything is fine now... I was a little bit confused of the fact that there is the need to put a floppy disk in it, first.
