I didn't download it because I actually have no idea what it is, and I have never hear of
it. Is this the same as the Universal Sound Test disk that E-mu uses for diagnostics? If
so I already have one of those, but would never use it since I'm not going to callibrate
the machione myself.

Hi

Yes, this is the "Max Universal Sound Test" disk. If you have a complete
version of it I would love to get a copy. Any chance you might want to EMX
it? I was under the assumption it was hard to find. I just picked up an emax
and it came with a bunch of disks and this was one of them. It doesn't seem
to be complete but I figured if anyone wanted it, I'd upload it.

The way I got mine was that when I picked it up at E-mu after having taking it down for a
check-up the disk was left inside the unit. When I asked if they wanted it back they said I
could just keep it. I'll EMX it in the near future, right now I have a Syquest cartridge sent
to me by a user who wants a copy of all my banks, and I haven't made his copy and it's
been over a month.

Hi

That's pretty wild! Whenever you find the time to emx it and upload it is
fine with me. I'll leave my incomplete version up until you replace it.

Thanks

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
