SOUND EDITING SOFTWARE HELP!

SOUND EDITING SOFTWARE HELP!

2002-05-23 by bjbearorl

I'm still trying to consumate the wedding of my EMAX SE Rack Mount
with my MAC SE HD. They just need some software to make beautiful
music together. I will pay for a good copy of Alchemy, Sound
Designer, or any other compatible software.

Please don't let these oldies but goodies become dust collectors!

Thanks to all!

Sorry to jump in on your request, but I've also been trying to find
either of these for about a year now with no joy. If you get lucky
drop me a line. I actually bought a copy of Alchemy a few years
ago from Sutekina in London but someone (possibly an
employee) had already installed it somewhere or other and there
were no authorisations left. I returned it but Passport had already
gone bust, so all S. could do was refund me.
Interested in anything- a crack doesn't seem like theft here since
Passport designs are defunct and Digidesign effectively
scuppered a good product in its quest for 'progress' when it
removed sampler support (and neither supports or sells it
anymore) but yes, I'm also willing to pay for Sound Designer
(emax 1 or universal) or preferably Passport's Alchemy.
Anybody?

Cheers,
jm

Thanks for the email with lots of information concerning the Alchemy
software and the Emax.

Sorry, I have no idea of how to get hold of that awesome program.
Honestly, I really don't know too much about it.

Wow, looks like my humble enquiry has sparked all sorts of communiqué in the
sound developers field. My advise is to sample a sound that makes you feel
connected. Get straight into the analogue possessing , get hold of that 120
fq and trim it to about 30. Then Q it a bit, work out your adhrs, and set
your pitch wheel on 2.2 in the preset definition area 9.

For further details consult your local BETA testa.
