TO EMAX GROUP: I am selling the following items: 1 - SCM PCD-50B SCSI CARD READER 1- PCMCIA to CF adapter This combination along with a SCSI EMAX Sampler will allow you to save your banks, samples, presets to a C.F. Compact Flash Drive. The PCD-50B Card reader has been re-flashed to the latest firmware that allows reading and writing to your Compact Flash. The SCSI Card reader is new in the box and comes with mounting screws, some modifications are needed for mounting in the Emax Sampler. The PCMCIA is used but has been tested and works with this setup. For specific EMAX SAMPLER Installation Information visit: http://djtbs1.wordpress.com/2010/10/04/some-install-related-pics/pcd-50b-front/ http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/emax/ Depending on your setup you will need to set the SCSI ID # so that this device boots in the correct order. Email if interested? Will sell to the group less then ebay. jasonmcdougal@...

Hi Jason, Dan here, let me know what you want for the unit. Question: will this allow me to boot my emax II directly from this device? That would be awesome. thanks --- On Wed, 4/20/11, Jason Mc <jasonmcdougal@...> wrote:

Hello Greg, You have not returned my original floppy i sold you, the floppy I sent you had a grey front cover, you "returned" a floppy with a black cover. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. You are a lier and a thief! Shame on your motivations. greg kyryluk 25 Pleasant Street Dover, MA 02030 United States DO NOT SELL TO THIS PERSON, HE HAS RIPPED ME OFF! I sold him a used working floppy(grey bezel) and he claimed that it didn't work, I offer to refund the floppy, Then he "returns" me his old floppy(black bezel). Not even the same bezel cover color! Hello Everyone, I dont normally do this but I will have to set this case very straight with Mr. Jason and the rest of the group. There are always two sides to a story Jason. First let me say this Jason is probably the worst liar I have dealt with when buying off a stranger on the net. He approached me with a floppy I needed for my Emax. I was interested and replied to him. He then happened to mention he would not be responsible for the unit if it failed in a year. I thought well in a year sure its worth it. Mine you he was very quick and adamant to reply to my emails in the beginning so I thought perhaps he was honest, however him telling me the uncertainty of the drive should have been a red flag. I proceeded to pay him and received one email from him "Ill ship by Friday and send a tracking number". I paid him on a Tuesday. Why it took him 3-4 days to ship is beyond me. He was supposed to email me a tracking number that Friday. Never heard from him again. I emailed him politely over the weekend requesting a tracking number and whether he shipped the floppy. Nothing, nada zilch. Three emails over three days and nothing. So how do you react to someone who hasnt responded for a total of 4 days and whos taken your money? Another red flag went up! I filed a claim with Paypal as I got tired of being ignored. Mysteriously he seems to have shipped the floppy the day I file the claim!! He then has the gaul to reply to me that all my emails went into spam. BS they didnt go into spam when you where trying to sell me the floppy!! Irregardless he never shipped on that Friday(as promised) nor did you even care to send me a tracking number until.....I filed a claim! Do you people see a pattern here... So I finally get the floppy install it and one day later the thing stopped working!! I mean 1 day. Jason you have alot of gaul coming on here and bitching about things when you treated me with lies and broken merchandise. How dare you place my name and email on here. You sir are a crook and I for one am glad that Paypal was kind enough to return my very hard earned money. Perhaps you have learned a lesson. You shouldnt cheat people and spread rumours of untruth. Yes I did repaint the faceplate as I had planned on keeping the floppy for at LEAST 1 year NOT 1 day!! I stand my ground for doing what was right for me. Let the others judge on their own. Enough Drama over a used $45.00 floppy drive, You sir approached the group asking for a CHEAP used floppy drive not me (YOU complained about route66) prices. I responded to your request, and had a used floppy drive shipped to you with tracking and insurance within 1 week. You complained because I did not send you a tracking # on Friday. I shipped on Monday. I am truly Sorry for the 2 day delay, if i would have know it made you so mad i would have never sold you the part. Sending me back your broken floppy with the wrong bezel cover, is CHEAP. I do not get pleasure in selling people broken junk. I just enjoy helping people fix these classic instruments. Good luck with your EMAX, next time spend the money and buy a NEW 720kb Single Density Floppy. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
