Philippe- As I explained to you directly (and someone can correct me if I am wrong)...the update disks are not available and have not been available for quite some time. These are ONE USE disks. Once used they cannot be used again. Nor can you easily find the Stereo chip easily either. (I know this as I looked last year and was told that to get these I would have to buy qty 10 at cost of $300 US). Cheaper and easier to just get an Emax 2 with all the options. You wrote to me of moving the boards from rack to keyboard. As I said before- move all the boards except the display and it should work for you. You aren't going to be able to make the non-stereo unit stereo. That update is not available. My effort to recreate the update was not successful and costs to go further were prohibitive. That is a useful service, especially for those not wanting to socket the EEPROM that holds the settings. However, if you don't have the necessary memory PALs for the unit that enable larger memory and the necessary Stereo PAL, you still will not be able to enable the function(s). If you are now able to re-create these PALs so we can all have these functions, please let us know. about my application floppy disk ZD413, ZD868 stereo Installation,Memory Install Who cares for this Memory Install Disks 2.14 E-mu PN ZD413 floppy disk stereo Installation/Operation Software Disk E-mu PN ZD868 here's my request reply Phillipe, I have recently resurrected the Scrambled Megs software program which requires two older MACs to get it to actually run. I have created a "part" on the website which is essentially my minimum bench fee, since it will require me to contact whomever is re-configuring and walk them through the update process. Here's the link: http://www.eprelectronics.com/store/E-mu-Keyboards-PARTS/E-mu-Emax/Emax-II-Adjust-Features-Code-p201.html Hope this helps, Richard Bruyn EPRElectronics.com Philippe, It requires 2 MACs on my end. All you need is the Emax II to be up and running and in Diagnostic mode with selection "Adjust Features". Richard --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, Ted Summers <djtbs1@...> wrote:
