Hi,

Since my Emax won't boot I searched around for a service manual,
but was not able to find it. If I'm correct there is no copy of it in this
group. Then I remembered that I had copied it once myself..
So if there really is no pdf version of this manual, I'm willing to scan it
and post it here. Just let me know.

Actually the PDF version of this service manual does exist, but currently
not as a free downloadable one.

Both emulatorarchive.com and musicparts.com are selling them - that's
probably why no one is uploading them. The distribution right and copyright
thing is also very unclear (as always :-)

In addition, the emulatorarchive version is too big to upload (more than
70MB), while the musicparts one has a watermark of the company on all pages
to avoid illegal copying.

I think a lot of members would appreciate a free PDF version of that service
manual !

If you look at MusicParts' Roland page:
http://www.musicparts.com/products.asp?Company=Roland
you'll notice they don't actually have any.
It doesn't say why anymore, but it used to: it's because they were told by
Roland to stop selling them.
My guess is they don't own any rights to any of these manuals.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
