Emax

I have an Emax II and Akai S1100, both with unbalanced outputs and a choice of mono/stereo outputs according to some other use (the Akai  L/Mono - R and Emulator Stereo/Phones or Main L/R). Right now I'm using four channels of balanced mixer for both, using the TRS connection on the mixer I have only the option of  balanced ins, has two more XLR mic ... The Akai does not bother me much since even single samples sound but in the Emax hell of some banks and other samples in mono and stereo each other it makes a difference, so I chose to use one channel for each output to compensate difference in volume. But how perfect it would be to use the direct output stereo.

Would need a DI box for the Emax? TRS Y cable? (No insert and send return with ..)
