Would someone kindly post a photo of the PSU connections to and HD rack?

Would someone kindly post a photo of the PSU connections to and HD rack?

2012-12-04 by jdchevallier

In my haste to get the psu to the shop to repair two cold solder points I didn't memorize two of the connections. The two connectons are tethered together. One is a 3 point female with green purple and yellow wires, and the other is a 6 point female connector that hooks up beside it. Just don't want to mix the two up, fire up the PSU and fry something.

Thanks!

Joel

they are the same they can only go in one way as its a keyed connector they both have the same voltages

put the big one on the left handside across 2 of the terminals and the last terminal put the small one

they can fit only one way this is so you dont plug it in backwards

also a note when removing connectors get your self some little round stickers and place them on the connector and on the pcb so you know where they go

just standard electronics servicing practive as plugging wrong cables in can be very bad on some circuits

and always note pin 1 so if you have connectors with no key system that the pin one on the pcb lines up with pin one on the idc ribbon conectors this is marked wth a solid colour line be it red blue purple or what ever colour is used
