Emax

Since Ted souped up my malfunctioning HD rack, I am selling off my HD keyboard. I thought before I listed it on ebay I'd see if anyone in the forums is looking for one. It's in pretty good cosmetic shape and the hard drive works fine. There are also quite a few sound banks loaded, both factory and my own. I'm not looking to gouge anyone with price, I'd just like to see it go to a good home.

I perhaps should have been a bit more specific about my apprehension
regarding international shipping. The keyboard as you know is
massive...both in size and weight. And it's quite fragile. I just don't
think I would feel confidant that it would arrive in the same shape that if
left in shipping it such a long distance...at least not at an affordable
price.

I always surprised that people say it costs so much. I bought an Emax II keyboard from california and it cost 'only' $170 via USPS to Germany..

I'm not totally opposed to shipping to Europe. I would definitely have to have it professionally packed which would cost around 50 dollars us I'm guessing. And it would have to be insured for the full amount as well. 

I'm always shocked that people aren't more apprehensive about shipping large, fragile, vintage musical equipment, period.

He sent it from San Francisco, CA to western germany in a massive wooden box. According to his email it weighed 69 pounds (70 max). 

Arrived faster than expected and only for $170...
