Moog vs. Eml 101

Moog vs. Eml 101

Would you guys say the EML is Fatter sounding and more
versatile than the Moog or ARP?

I think they are all different from one another but the EML101, with its 4
oscillators can sound fatter to me than almost all the Moogs and ARPs for
sure. The only exception might be a modular system with 4 or more
oscillators. The 101 also has a really different tone to it. I consider it
"dirty". EML are great machines and sound like machines more than Moogs and
ARPs, which tend to have a more organic quality to them, at least in my
opinion. I put the EML101 up there with the Minimoog and ARP 2600 - these
are all synths which I would not want to be without. I have a spare EML101
up on eBay right now. Its in great condition. I also have a 2600 up there
now but its about to end shortly. I will post a link in the next message.
