Re: [emulatorII-list] E-MuSer ETA?

2010-10-08 by GG

I was having a weird problem with SD4E2 recognizing my E2 banks off my archive CD as well. I had to end op using that mac utility file translator deal. On my Mac SD4E2 only recognizes files as SFIL not E2BK. Maybe thats a unique problem to my system. Its was a pain to have to go thru these extra steps would have liked for it to just have worked. Oh well! such is the world of vinatge sampler technology, Mum should have never taken me to that music store back in 85 and gotten me hooked on this stuff. Labor of love I guess:)

So what was the ETA on building these? Is 'Julian' or E-Synthesis selling these? How much are they and when will they be available?

I like this solution a bit better for now verses trying to shoehorn the SD card reader in there. Or am I missing the magic. Crap I just want something that works! SD4E2 is being a turd on allowing me to import voices I have on CD over to the EII. So my libraries are useless until I find a working solution.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
