EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hello,
I'm wondering if I could improve the performance of my Dual G4 
system by putting the EX-Samples and the "normal" audiofiles, which 
play in the tracks, on different harddrives? I have the System HD, 
which has 2 partitions, one for the system, the other is almost 
unused. Then I've got a Media-HD, which carries all the midi, audio 
and video files. Would it be better to have all files used by the 
EXS on the second partition of my System HD? Any experiences here?
