hi group, we have a strange behaviour since I reinstalled logic on a PC running windows 2000 (until a few weeks ago, we hav win98 installed and didn´t have this problem): when enabling record on a audio track, it takes up to 20 secs for the track to be ready for recording. I narrowed down the problem pressing "a" to set recording options and set the maximum recording time to 5 mins. Now it doesn´t take that long anymore, but still takes a while. anyway, we never had recording time limited to 5 mins, rather to an hour or so. this is a real problem since very often we need to record jam sessions with 10-15 tracks audio at one time, wich worked perfectly until now. Also, disabling "create audio files before recording" has no effect, because I can record enable a track instantly but it takes a huge time to actually START recording. No problems on sync, playback and low latency recording (we usually run 12ms, even on 15 tracks simultaniously) any ideas? thanks a lot for helping, Charles.
