Thanks for straightening this out. I don't actually have a TDM system. 
But I have done some work recently for a client setting up his EXS 24 , 
the DTDM environment, and ESB plugin; so it was somewhat fresh in my 
mind at the time. At least the basics of it anyway :-)

Good to know. I thought you needed a special TDM version of the EXS in 
order to run them directly on DAE tracks.

This seems to make sense.

Good to know. I knew the actual ESB/Direct Connect plugins were pretty 
DSP hungry. But I didn't know what kind of DSP was involved in running 
EXS's straight in your DAE/TDM mixer. Good to know it doesn't take up 
any extra DSP. I'll advise my client on this new found information.
