In particular, I'm looking at:

Volumes 11 (Classic Orchestra), 13 (Choirs), 18 (Steinway), 22 (Hip

Wayne;I have Classic Orchestra.Limited to the point that you will certainly need more orchestral sounds, especially brass and string articulations, but it is my go-to set for most strings. They are warm yet present, set in room ambience and with some rosin, but sit really well in a mix or layered with other string samples.Don't know much about it having EXS performance features per say,but I also use it with NNXT in Reason and my Yamaha A4000,and previously with my Emu ESI2000 and Ensoniq ASRX Pro,as well as the EXS.Samplers come and go,but that orchestral set stays, which should tell you something.I also have Vol.4 Percussive Loops,18 Steinway Grand,19 Pop Brass,20 Orchestral Brass and 24 Breakbeat.Pop Brass is pretty lame,to be honest,I dont use Orchestral Brass that much. The piano is excellent, warm and clear, but soft and not really good for a cutting rock sound.Still, everybody should have 2 or 3 piano sets anyway, and this is a good one for the money. The loop disks are excellent, and I
use them both a lot.I haven't heard any of the others you ask about,so I'm curious about what people have to say too.Good sample hunting!
