Thanks for the tip(s) Garth and  to everyone else.
The documention in the cd case is not at all useful.  In fact, the only 
instructions are those that refer to moving the samples on the disc into the 
Sampler Instruments folder.  When I remembered the Mac  and .exe issue I 
thought all was lost.  I'll try dragging the stuff into Stuffit Expander.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
