All my hope was on your solution, Guy. Thanks for your input by the way.
I changed the aiff extension to aif, did all the neccesary changes, but after a 
restart the problem was still there: noise when I touch a key, although I hear 
the sample sound somewhere very far behind the noise. 
If I press E in the editor, the sample editor opens and I can play the sound with 
no problems.

Maybe Michael Haydn could shine his light on this problem.
I couldn't find anything on Infoweb about this eighter.
