Nick, I know ithis was an "anecdotal off-cuff comment," but was he making it in comparison to drives with 8MB buffers? In other words, he was saying the smaller buffers are more responsive? I ask because I am going to buy a firewire drive in the near future, and was wondering whether the extra cost for a drive with an 8MB buffer (only about $10 more) is worth it, or whether it might actually be a disadvantage (at least for streaming samples). thanks, Paul
