Hello esteemed EXS experts! I've had Logic Audio since November. I'm planning on using it on my iBook G4 under OSX. On my big computer, which is running Digital Performer 3.11 under OS-9.2.2 I can't get ESXP24 ver. 1.5 to work at all (see below). Phoning Apple is no help. Emailing Emagic is no help (yet?). The LUG is no help. At the MotuMac forum Klaus Roethlisberger emailed me and said I need ver. 1.6, and to get it at the dealer. The dealer that sold it to me has no upgrade, and it's no where on their website that I can find. I'm so very much looking forward to using ESXP, but now I'm completely dead in the water. Does Anyone have a clue as to what I should do? I will be soooo grateful for an answer! Robert Here's my post to MotuMac, just in case it might shed some light: ------------------- My system: G4/533-640 MB OS9.2.2, 2408mk-II DP 3.11, MAS 2.4, EXSP VST 1.5, VST shell v.3.018 (inside the Plug-ins folder inside MOTU inside System) various Waves plugs, Atmosphere. I've talked to the good people at Apple/Emagic and they say that I've installed EXSP24 correctly and it should work. They know of no issues with DP. I cannot get EXSP to find it's own patches. I'll click on the field where one selects patches, I'll SEE the patches, but when I highlight a patch it won't load. I CAN get the EXSP to play a sine wave - that's what should play before a patch selection (same with Atmosphere). I create a stereo audio track, insert EXSP24 from my VST Wrapper subfolder, create a midi track, assign it's output to "EXSP24 : Stereo-1 :A-Ch-1". Just like I would for Atmosphere (except that Atmosphere is MAS), but I only get the sine wave. I've installed EXSP24 twice on one system, and once on another with DP2.7. Every time I get the same behavior. Can you help? Robert -------------
