Hi group. I'm currently working on a ESX version of the White Grand, and everything works great except for the release samples. In Giga, HALion and Kontakt you can set parameters so that the volume of a release sample is related to how long you have pressed the key before releasing. If I play a staccato note on the piano, I want the release sample to sound louder then if I press a key, hold it down for a couple of seconds, and then releasing it. You can select "Key Release" in the group window for Trigger On, and that triggers the releasesamples, but they come out with the same volume regardless how l,ong you have held the key down prior to release. In the group window there's also two parameters connected to the "Key Release"; Decay and then a checkbox without a name. I figured out the Decay, it's a kind of release, but the checkbox..???? Nothing in my paper manual (but that's for EXS24, and no release samples where implemented in that version) and nothing in the ReadMe pdf that came with the update. Anyone that can shed any light on this..?????? If anyone have translated some other piano lib that uses release samples, or bought a EXS24 version of a piano that uses release samples, does the releasesamples work properly in those cases?
