I looked into it deeper and noticed that either my Korg Trinity which I'm using as the input device has a fixed release velocity of 64, or Logic just defaults to that release velocity no matter what is input. My workaround was to manually adjust the releases (huge task) to lower or higher values depending on the passage and that helped, but way too time consuming for any practical use. I would suggest you email Emagic. This is a big problem and puts the EXS at the back of the class as far as modern software samplers go. The problem effects many libraries from the Sam brass libraries to the VSL and beyond. It's not the end of the world, but for a sequencer that makes the claims to greatness that EXS does, it's time they added this feature. Best, James Ryan
