EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I have just received my MultiFormatDisks for Horns, Trombones and
Trumpets and am only just beginning to work my way round them in EXS.

My normal policy with EXS is to "Process" instruments and samples with
EXS manager but initial analysis of these PROJECT SAM items with EXS
manager throws up all sorts of missing samples etc. Yet they are there.
I haven't thought it through yet so I don't have a clear idea of why EXS
manager is doing this. Logic seems to load the instruments OK and since
I have only had them for a few hours I cannot say if there are any
problems yet to been revealed.

Note I have my 'Project SAM' folder on an external 250 gig Firewire
drive and I have aliased the Instruments folders from the official
Sampler Instruments folder to the Drive, This works very well for other
libraries.

Now one quick observation on mapping. I note that the Key Switch range
for Solo Trumpet 10,11 & 12 appears as C-1 to D#-1. So I have raised the
KS to C0 to D#0. I haven't checked all Keyswitch instruments but this
may be the only set with incorrect mapping.
