EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I am thinking about moving my sample library, which is spread out over 
4 La Cie d2 FW external drives,
120G each, to a new 500G d2.  This would de advantageous in terms of 
portability. Do you think I would be
taking a performance hit in doing so, since there would be only one 
physical drive mechanism reading all
the samples? I use a mix of normal and SampleMerged files.
