EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi All, 

Someone asked me a question today that I couldn't answer with complete
certainty. We all know the line on the EXSP 24 is that you cannot create or
edit your own instruments. But what if you are running it in a version of
either Gold or Platinum (as a VST/OS9 or AU/OS X plugin of course) pre Logic
pro?

The actual EXS instrument editor functionality doesn't seem tied to any
authorization or copy protection. Couldn't a user of EXSP use the EXS editor
in Gold or Platinum to do instrument editing/creation, etc? and then simply
use the instruments in the EXSP 24? Is there anything that would prevent
this from working??
