The software samplers are usually more responsive. The click usually comes about if the waveform starts on a non-zero value (the greater the amplitude, the more likely a click), and is in a sort of way to where the engine needs to really "jump to it". The solution mentioned above is a good one. In Translator we included a few options where this non-zero anomaly is rectified; either by a slight envelope applied to the data or by automatically adding 1 as mentioned above. However, this is a manual option, since sometimes you DO want the "click", like on percussion sounds. Garth Hjelte Sampler User
