EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I've got Logic Audio 6.3.1 for MacOSX (Big Box) and I'm trying to import .SF2 files into the 
EXSP24 but it doesn't seem to be working. All it does is produce a sine wave for the audio 
and dims the name of the soundfont in the list of instruments. Is there a workaround for 
this? Am I missing something? I've got the demo of an Audio Unit component (SoundFont 
Synth) that  seems to play the soundfonts just fine.
