Well, lets ask a question for a change... :-) Suppose I have a loop called "loop.wav" and use Recycle to create "loop.rx2". If I then open this recycle file in the EXS, it creates an instrument (fine) and converts the audio to "loop.aif" in the "Logic:ReCycle Audio" folder. How do I get the EXS to use/create a .wav instead of an .aif, so that you could use the original loop-file with the new instrument instead of the aif that the EXS created? I tried all sorts of things: set recording preferences to WAVE (doesn't make a difference), hex-edit the .exs instruments to load the .wav instead of the .aif (works, but the wav and aif have a different number of samples (??) so the instrument gets thoroughly confused), etc. The online help says nothing about REX import in the EXS, and the EXS manual is no help either (as usual)... -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra h @ k n o w a r e . n l Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com/
