EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

forgive me for this is not really exs relevant,

i am hoping for a way to create 5.1 content directly in logic and monitor it
via the "state-of-the-art" digital optical out of the g5.
it seams as if there is a lot of troubble involved and i didn't get it to
work so far.

does anyone have an idea on how to use the g5 optical out connected directly
to a 5.1 receiver?
