A lot of guys like to use the multiple outs feature inside one EXS and 
then use AUX objects but I find this a bad excuse for extra unnecessary 
programming. I like to use the "One EXS one drum sound" approach. You 
also avoid latency issues by doing it this way.

The latter is true. The EXS is smart enough to not use more ram for new 
instances of the same instrument.
