Opus 1 has good basic brass; trumpet, horn and trombone all in solo and ensemble in a wide variety of articulations and a solo tuba sample. Also has horn and trombone glissandi as well as stacc repetitiions for trumpets, horn and trombone but only at set speeds. No muted brass instruments. As far as I know its not poss to build the library up separately. They certainly sell solo and chamber strings separately as well as a separate perc module and sax module as well as various others, but you can¹t seem to build it up separately. A friend of mine bought the full VSL pro edition which is completely out of this world but so is the price!! Opus 1 seems like a good compromise, but still needs a little extra added at later stages.
