EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Can anyone recommend a free or cheap solo violin patch?

I've hunted through the links listed here and haven't found anything.
I'm using EXSP24 on a Mac (Logic Audio 6.3.1), so Soundfont conversion
is broken :-( ,  which means currently Soundfonts are not an option
for me.

All I need is something fairly basic to help me audition a piece that
I'm writing for a cello, violin and piano trio - it doesn't have to be
'recordable quality' - just something closer to the sound of a solo
violin than the EXS Strings patch so can get the right feel for the
arrangement.

I plan to get either Garritan Personal Orchestra or EWQL Symphonic
Orchestra Silver when I can afford it (btw, any recommendations either
way on these? - EWQL Silver sounds better from the demos, but GPO
seems to be more flexible, esp for small ensembles which is what I'm
interested in...)

but for now, if anyone has a free and legally obtained solo violin
soundfont that they've converted to EXS format, or can point me in the
right direction to find one, I'd be most grateful.
