Thanks everyone for the tips. Last I checked, versions of Logic 4.x or lower do not qualify for the $300 upgrade, so it looks like I'd have to shell out a lot more for pro, because editability in the EXS sampler is important for me. Then who even knows if Logic 7 will be stable on my 1ghz G4.
