I'm a little confused about what you want to do, but it sounds like you're
trying to make the same audio file do double duty, by playing both in the
arrange page on an audio track, and also pieces of it triggered by midi
notes on a midi track. Is that right? Maybe it would help if you made a
separate copy of the file to use in the EXS24?
