I don't know about the quality because I don't have the "real  
thing" (neither IRL or in software) but USB have at least one Dobro  
patch their Plugsound Vol.2 instrument. See

You can download and hear a "light" version of it their free plugin  
"Plugsound Free"  from another location on their website (the one I  
have used).
